My ties within the Penn State network and the networking system really helped me land a job. 


I’m just a freshman and I’ve already seen presentations by at least 7 major companies because they want to place us in their company.

 

A dream job is to own my own business. It would probably be a mix between construction and landscaping.

 

I think I’d love to work with agricultural development in Latin America someday.

 

Secratary of Agriculture in the United States of America, you get to shape policy for, for the entire nation.

 

Turf grass science majors get to work on golf courses. 

I get to work with food all the time.

 

A lot of AG Engineers are hired by Hershey.

 

Eventually I might have aspirations of working up in the corporate ladder.

 

Hopefully I’ll be going to graduate school here at Penn State doing dairy microbiology that I’m doing right now.

 

I’m planning to do both small animal veterinary medicine and equine veterinary medicine.

 

I’m actually student teaching next spring.

 

The Science Department actually has like a 98% placement out of graduating seniors.

 

Agriculture is, is a very wide field. It can take you into the sciences, it can take you into math, it can take you all around the world.

 

It’s really impressive to see when we go to conferences with teams that these people are offered jobs anywhere they want to be, and they just have the world’s selection on what they want to do.
